Newbie needing friends and motivation.

I’m 55 and need to loose about 3 stone. I’m new at this and not great at using apps. Any help at motivating me will be greatly appreciated.

    Hello. I'm 53 and struggling but determined. I would love to connect. Excuse my ignorance but what does 3 stones equate to in pounds? I have 80 lbs to lose.

    I think i need to loose at least 45lbs but that’s being kind to myself! Lol
    I’m really struggling. I can be ‘good’ for a few days then seem to fall off the wagon.

    Hi- I started about 50 days ago and have lost 23 pounds.. I’m not gonna tell you it’s easy- cause that’s a lie, LOL. But it is doable and when you start seeing the changes in your body, you’ll feel amazing- best advice i can give is to absolutely measure out your foods so you have a good idea exactly how much you are eating (calories, MACROS) etc. I was probably eating 2500-3000 calories a day and wondered why my jeans were getting tighter and tighter. I was 180 when I started, now 157...and I’m probably the laziest person in the world (hated moving at all) but something inside of me just started doing this Tabata/Cardio/Circut training one day and now I’m addicted and working out, even light walking etc is a step in the right direction.. also understand “diets” are a fad and you are making a lifestyle change, take it one day at a time, and don’t deprive yourself, take one day to have a slice of pizza, etc, (once you start to see the calories in food,etc) you’ll be more mindful when eating anything and less likely to wrack up the numbers.
