Some type of grilled meat and vegetables.....my kitchen is always open.....just one visit would constitute at least a possibility of being friends1 -

more threads getting shut down.
This one might be next. I might get banned for this but I think becoming a mod makes you somewhat prudish and I'm not sure why anyone would volunteer for that. It's not like you get paid to suck the fun out of the forums so why? Some of the threads that get shut down are not even breaking any rules. We're adults, although we might not act like it all the time but seriously, why? It discourages people from posting. Is that the goal?1 -

I can like people without being real friends. If my only form of communication is typing with you......you are probably more entertainment than friend.
Ok but what do you do with your real friends?
Eat chicken wings and have face to face conversations.
Im in
If the wings aren't breaded and I can wear a tunic and no makeup, I'll come with.
This sounds perfect to me. Low maintenance or I'm out.1 -

Along as you aren't going to use the old standby of finger, zip, mount, fsck, piped to more.
I routinely communicated in Morse for a time here.
One time I was driving and my GPS said to turn left on Pearl street.
I missed it because I was looking for Perl.

You have to remember that they are looking to enforce the lowest common denominator. If you great Aunt Marjory's bingo group would find it offensive? It goes. I mean I have gotten some deserved slaps from the powers that be, but some leave me staring at the screen jaw agape thinking, "Really?"
They want their forum to be as vanilla as possible because 99% of the people who use it are scandalized by a bare ankle. It has been ever thus. Cycles of greater freedom followed by crackdowns. As ever it will be. Personally? I'm not paying for it. So there!1 -

Like I said, it discourages people from posting. I'm not paying for it either so whatever. Let the pearl clutching prudes have at it.0 -
