New to Intermittent Fasting

Hi Everyone,

I am new to a IF, using a 16/8 protocol. In reading up on IF, there is a lot of information about meeting macros, etc. Has anyone had success not worrying about those details going in, log food maybe and see what works?

    Unless you're a lifter, there's really no point in messing with macros. Just be sure to get enough protein and fiber, and you should be okay.

    I have had success by definitely logging food, and more success the less I worried about details.

    On a side note - in my opinion, it's sad that we've become so accustomed to and dependent on eating all the time, that we need a special term just in order to stick to a meal schedule.

    Does anyone here want to be accountability pals? I am going to be intermittent fasting this month and try to be consistent throughout May, which is my first short term goal.
