Tired of the sweet shakes?
Options
I use the Visalus shakes and, for the most part, they taste pretty good. My problem? Well, I crave salt like CRAZY when I am on the shakes. They are really, really sweet. I wish there was a way to tone down the sweet and make a more savory shake. I swear, I was having fantasies about putting kale and spinach in the shakes. On the plus side, the shakes TOTALLY remove any sweet tooth you may have. Does anyone have any suggestions or recipes I could try with the shakes that won't require me to add anything sweet to the shakes? I tried adding cocoa powder and coffee, which helps. Any ideas?

No, I feel the same way (and thought it was only me as well!) I still don't have any solutions to it though. When I was searching for variations on the shake I came across this link and have more ideas. I guess it depends on your taste, but you can dress it up anyway you want.
