So I have recently been trying to drink more water since I got back into the swing of things. I have noticed ever since I started drinking more than 9 cups a day, I almost prefer room temperature water as opposed to cold water. Anybody notice anything similar?

I usually drink water that is barely chilled from the get-go as I have sensitive teeth and can't stand cold against them (hot doesn't bother me, just cold).

I have always preferred it room temperature. Maybe chilled if I am hot or warm if I am cold, but 95% of the water I drink is room temperature.

Same here, it goes down easier and no sharp head ache/eye pain.

We drink from a cooler. I mix cold and room temp to get the ideal temperature for me if I'm only drinking water. If I'm drinking a Nuun tablet or making lemonade, it needs to be cold.

Water is easier to drink (for me) if it's not extreme in temperature. In fact, I love room temperature drinks of all kinds, and I like cool and warm drinks, but not hot or cold ones. (For example, I prefer drinking cool or tepid, ice-less lemonade and warm cocoa.) But I like my ice cream cold. ;) Just weird like that, I guess...

I drink my water very warm - not quite hot, but more than room temperature. Have for the past, oh, four years or so now. I don't know why; one day cold water did not sound good so I nuked in in the microwave. Haven't looked back since.

Had the security guard at a federal building once give me the side eye over it when checking my backpack and he encountered the ~102-108 ºF water bottle full of plain water. He assumed I had a cold sensitivity, which I don't. I'm just some rando weirdo who likes to drink very warm water.

I rarely drank plain water, not a fan at room temperature or from cold tap. But since I have started keeping water in my fridge, I love drinking it cold, all year round.

I still prefer ice cold water, but I'm trying to drink more of it, so I've just been keeping a bottle by my side and drinking it lukewarm, and it's growing on me.

I'm the opposite -- the colder, the better.

I like cold water. I don't have ice in it but it is colder than room temperature.

I used to prefer cold, but as I drink more water and my kids get older (lazier) I find my refrigerator void of cold water most times. Room temp doesn't bother me much. Cold water is def better for working out though as it more quickly regulates core temp.

I prefer room temp for plain water. Most of what I consume is hot water with a flavored tea bag in it that I drink all day, even when it cools to room temp. I can’t drink much of cold water, it seems to quench my thirst so much that I don’t consume enough.

I prefer mine either hot and strained through coffee grounds, or ice cold with carbon dioxide gas, cola flavoring and artificial sweetener added.

    Now your talking
