I'm a returning user needing encouragement

I've been away a long time, just returned today. I'm starting over at the same weight (actually 4 pounds more). I need to hear from someone who has failed like me and got going again and has had some success.

    Well hi, and welcome back! It would be me you are describing. I joined a couple years ago, and instead of losing consistently, I seemed to gain more often than not up to 10 lbs even though I joined a gym and was attending fitness classes regularly. Maybe I got stronger, cuz I felt a lot better. But I didn't stop on the MFP site, and I am sure my MFP friends were skeptical about my commitment to lose weight. However, I fall off and get back up over and over until I get it done. I did the same thing quitting smoking - it is me. I am just not pushing myself hard. I need encouragment as well to lose weight and not leave MFP. That said, I restarted my weight on Jan 1 this year and since May I have been able to lose weight. I have lost 7# because I am eating less, and more active. We moved to Hawaii so I am working on the house alot and it is so hot here that I don't eat as much. On days I don't work hard on the house, my weight creeps up. How are you doing? What are you doing to lose weight? What are you planning to do this time that will help? I am glad you are here and asked for encouragement. I will be glad to friend you and give support. What kind of support to you want -- with your food and exercise? I have a group of MFP friends who joined when I did, all of who are doing a lot better than I am at losing weight. We usually support each other by viewing the food and exercise diary. Do you want to share those logs? Anyways, glad you are here and you keep trying to lose weight. We can do this!!
