It's so simple but I love it. 1oz of raw almonds and one small box of raisins. It's packed with potassium and healthy fat and it keeps me satisfied between my very early breakfast (5am) and my lunchtime (1pm). Yummers!

    I have that too for my snack but instead of almonds I use walnuts. The combo of the nuts and raisins is SO good!

    I should add: I actually count out 10 walnut halves and 20 raisins and eat 2 raisins with each walnut half. This way I know I wont overeat. It's so easy to do that with nuts.

    Either cacawates with coffee!!

    & their crunch satifies even my cravings....not to mention the jaw workout....no need for anything else after a good crunchy workout like that:tongue:

    I love almonds, I never mixed them with raisins, but I will sure try that, because the sweetness from the raisins mixed with the almonds sounds yummy....

    Oooh, that sounds great! I've been trying the flavored almonds (cinnamon, cocoa), and I'm surprised to find out I like them. I've never been much of a nut-person. But raisins and almonds sounds like the perfect combination! Thanks!

    mmmmmmm nuts are my weakness. I can (and have) polish off a whole can of cashews without thinking about it. Im not much of a sweets person. I like salty stuff but combine salty with sweet and mmmmmmm im done for lol.

    I bought some granola with almonds in it and have been using it in my yogurt. PLUS I eat special K vanilla almond in the mornings lol

    To those who love almonds but are afraid of oversnacking - look into Emerald 100 calorie packs. They have the dark cocoa dusted almonds which I love and regular and garlic and herb I think. I have mine with cheese. :)

    raw almonds (or sometimes I toast them) with dried apple chips (just dried apples with no sugar added)
    or
    1tbl of almond butter in my Activia Light Vanilla yogurt....mmm!
