I started at 150. Goal weight is 125. For the longest time I would waver at 141. I told this to a person in a dentist office. She said start counting your carbs. After years of dieting, I immediately lost 6 lbs. in about 3 weeks. This brought hope once again to me. I tried to make it easy, thus I gave up sweets, white potato, rice. I said NO TO SO MANY DESSERTS, but I don't care, as now I am wavering in the 135. To me this is victory. I still have 10 lbs to go. I find myself cheating a bit. But not for long----as I am going to be more astringent in weighing and measuring my food BUT STILL CONTINUE TO MONITOR MY CARBS. I eat between 1100 and 1300 calories daily. I am 5'2, medium build and 78 yrs. old. Try cutting down below 100 carbs daily, it really does make a difference.
