Hey everyone. SO I am new to MyFitnessPal, but not to dieting. I am 38 years old, 450 lbs as of yesterday, and was just informed I am pre-diabetic and need to get this weight off. I'm a father of three amazing kids, and a husband to my wonderful wife. What I'm looking for is a support group of people in the same boat as me, and work hard one step at a time. Ultimate goal is to get down to 225, but my first micro goal is to track for 1 week (7) days and lose 5 lbs. I know from reading some of the posts out there its possible and I hope my journey can motivate someone like other people's stories have motivated me.     Keep thinking positive my friend, you can do it. I think you're smart setting short, obtainable goals. We know you can do it.
