Big struggle to lose few Ibs

I am struggling lose only 10 Ibs from Last 5 months. I signed a personal trainer eat healthy but nothing is working.

    Are you weighing your food and entering it into the food diary?
    Are you staying within your calorie goal?

    Have you lost inches? You're probably putting on muscle while you're losing fat.

    "eating healthy" is somewhat meaningless - you can eat as healthily as you like, but if you're eating too much you're still eating too much and won't achieve the weight loss results you want.

    If you haven't already, get a calorie goal for a sensible rate of loss (0.5lbs per week) and start tracking everything you put in your mouth. Use food scales for all solids/semi-solids and measuring cups for liquids. Check the database entries you use for accuracy.

    Have you seen some strength and endurance benefits from your time with your personal trainer? If so, you are getting the benefits from the exercise.

    To lose weight you need to be eating less. Are you logging all your meals on MFP?
