Does anyone take this for bladder leakage? I have been taking it for about 2 months at first once it started working it was great no more leakage but now I can go all day and not go unless I drink a lot of liquids. Im only on 5mg once daily and Im also wondering if it is stopping me from losing any more weight it doesnt matter how low I go my weight stays the same within ounces unless I eat above 1300 calories then it goes up and its hard to get thoses pounds back off. I think Im going to stop this medicine and see what happens

Anticholinergic drugs can cause weight gain & increase appetite; however, the scale can be misleading too due to the anti-secretory/"drying" actions of this drug intended for treating overactive bladder (retains urine). 5mg/day is quite a low dose for this drug & these class of drug are not always needed long term/chronically (they are often targeted as drugs that can be discontinued in elderly populations as a part of medication therapy management).
Other issue, are you on the XL version or the regular release, & dosing in the AM or bedtime? Either way, it is best to address with your MD first before discontinuing (even though there is no withdrawal). Note: this drug can diminish your sweating as well (you might notice if you discontinue & we are approaching summer...).
Alternative that has weight loss association = Mirabegron (MYBETRIQ), a beta-3 agonist also used in OAB. Has a bit of risk with blood pressure elevation (with stupid high dosing though, nonetheless BP monitoring still is a parameter to watch). Insurance is usually a problem however (still BRANDED; should you be lucky & have coverage, there is a MFR coupon available - google). Talk to your MD first as there are multiple strategies to help your case0 -
Yes I kegel and I take it in the morning and its the regular release0

You could always switch it up to bedtime (that's usually how it dosed when nighttime voiding is problematic - detrimental to sleep quality). You've got to void sometime...might want to try this out unless AM dosing is needed due to work convenience, traveling/driving, or similar circumstances.
Yeah, non-pharmacoligic measures: kegel exercise (think hack squats, bridging, etc.), scheduled voiding time, & stringent fluid intake monitoring. (I assume this isn't functional overactive bladder...that is you do not have any mobility issues walking to restrooms, etc.)0 -
Ive been taking it in the morning but go almost every night without having to get up and still dont pee much in the morning0

Seems very reasonable to question MD if even needed anymore0
