Working out at home?

Hi everyone. My question is... I work from 6am at my first job and get home from my second job around 930 everyday. I don't want to spend money by signing up for a gym and I want to know how to work out at home while getting a decent workout. Anyone in a similar situation? How / What do you do to keep yourself toned and active?

If you search the forum for "home workout" or "home exercise", you'll find lots of discussions.
If you need more help. tell us what equipment you have.1 -
Fitnessblender.com, buy some weights off your local FB marketplace, and go at it!! You can always walk/jog around your neighborhood as well.0

The Firm workouts are fun. They generally use dumbbells and sometimes a small step.0

There are lots of options for working out at home depending on your goals and resources (namely space, but also funds). So what does a decent workout look like to you, and what do you have available to meet that goal?
As for me, I run in my neighborhood when the weather is good, do FitnessBlender videos in my basement when the weather is bad (and also for stretching and flexibility), and am building up a pretty decent weight lifting set-up in my basement as well.1 -
There are tons of great workouts on YouTube! Search for:
Fitness blender
Popsugar
Sidney Cummings
Millionaire Hoy
Joanna Soh
These all have a wide variety of HIIT cardio, bootcamp, abs, yoga, strength training, stretching, kickboxing, etc.

I lost 20 kg (45lb) with fitness blender and a set of dumbbells. I love it cause I fit it into my schedule rather than changing my schedule to fit it in.1

I use Daily Burn and can do tons with just a few dumbbells and a bench. To get the most, I do like the paid subscription, but you don't have to pay (I don't think). You get at least 30 days free to try it out. Their DB365 is a different (usually circuit training) 30 minute workout each day, which is nice for variety.0

I have lost over 80 pounds and have kept it off for 5 years without having a gym membership. I did it more for a convenience factor then time. I use to sign up for gym memberships then eventually stop going. Working out at home I found there was no excuses not to workout. Then it became a habit.
Here's what I do to keep fit at home:
- Fitness DVD's (Leslie Sansone, Cathe Friedrich, Jillian Michaels, Beachbody etc.)
- Youtube: There are several channels I follow that update regularly with different workout routines.
- Bodyweight circuits: Push ups on my toes, one legged tricep dips, leg lifts, planks, lunge jumps etc.
- I slowly invested in a home gym. I bought equipment such as a Pilates Reformer, kettlebells, a mini-stair stepper, weights, resistance bands, yoga mats etc. and I always adding and upgrading my things.
Also I workout outdoors whenever I can. I powerwalk, do walk/run intervals, moderate walking on active rest days. Hill runs for a challenge. I use a high school football field and do body weight work (pull ups on the goal post, run up and down the bleachers, walking lunges, burpees, jump roping etc.) Walk around the track for a mile or so in between sets.
I have a lot of variety and I never get bored with my routines. Good luck!6
