So. I have started this journey of weight loss. I have made the decision to have the Bariatric Bypass surgery and I am now at the point of the liquid diet prior to the surgery to shrink the liver. It is difficult thatnis for sure. Especially since I have a family of 6 and I am cooking for every one. And while they eat there meal o am drinking mine. But i am tottaly pumped for this surgery. It is going to be the best decision I have made because ij will be able to do things with my kids and be around for them longer in their lives.

You will find the 2 weeks pre op are difficult in a much different way then post op. Pre op you still crave the food they are eating. Post op that is not the case (at least for me). Post op it is more about figuring out what food you can eat just to sustain some level of nutrition. I don't crave anything anymore. I am 9 weeks post op and down 75lbs. I have some episodes of head hunger but it is much easier to distinguish from real hunger because my new stomach is sending loud signals when it is full.0
