Any other breastfeeding mamas?

I am trying to start again with my fitness pal and started with a random Google search for what my calorie intake should be while breastfeeding. I am aware that is not the most accurate information but a place to start. I am also interested in doing Keto but I understand while breastfeeding I need to be careful with starting a new lifestyle diet. Wondering if anyone has any advice or is going through the same?

Same here! My little one is 3 months, and I just started back up on My Fitness Pal last week. Best I can tell from other entries on here, we should be consuming about 500 extra calories a day for expressing around 30 oz. of milk. I tried that for a week and have dropped three pounds without feeling hungry, and so far no drop in my supply. I think I really just needed to be food journaling to be more mindful overall, because I was a snack monster during maternity leave. :-) Would love to know if others have any experience with tracking while breastfeeding!2

500 extra calories sounds so excessive, doesn't it?0
