Calories for Exercise

My question is about the calories you get added in for eating because of exercise. For example, my Fitbit calorie burn was 420 calories so do I need to eat those 420 calories or am I ok to stay at my 1200 calories? I always have a problem where I don't eat enough...

The number MFP gave you goes based off of your activity level. If Fitbit adjusted it, it means you moved more than you told MFP you did. So you should eat back at least some of those calories - 50-75% is the usual recommendation.3

Mfp gives you a lower calorie goal assuming you will log your exercise and eat back at least some of those calories. So yes, at least eat back some of them.3

I assume my fitbit over estimates my calorie burn so I eat back about half most days.1
