Not new but restarting the drive for weight loss

Hi all :)

So I used to use MFP a few years ago but then fell off the wagon big time and I've only just come back. I restarted my 'journey' a few months ago and started going to the gym and making better food choices but then only remembered a couple of weeks ago about MFP so I started tracking on most days (even on cheat days). I'm looking for motivation and friendship, especially from people like myself. I'm male, 5'9 and a half, 27 yo, and around the 250lb mark - I haven't weighed myself in quite a while though so it could be lower (actually writing it out in numbers makes me hate myself for letting it get this far before actually tackling stuff). I've lost a few pounds already and toned up a bit so clothes are starting to fit a bit better but there's still a long way to go...

    Good for you man. It’s good to make these changes, but it’s even better to get back in after stopping for a while.
