I'm not going to put up a picture (I'm just starting me weight loss journey) but can you tell if I'm rectangle, pear or apple shaped with measurements? 45-37-47. I have about 60/70lbs to lose.

Since your hips are a bit larger than your chest, I think you fall into the pear category. Welcome to the club! (fellow pear here)

What difference does it make? You can still lose weight or add mass to change appearance if you desire.

I have never in my life seen someone who actually resembled a square, inverted triangle, or pear. You are shaped like a human.

I could understand using it to try to get an idea on how something might fit you clothes wise, but for weight loss. No. Calories in, calories out.
