concession stand foods

It's now softball season for the granddaughters and that means at some places having to eat concession stand foods because you're not allowed to bring anything in from outside and there isn't always time to run to the car to grab something. So for those of you familiar with the general foods concession stands sell, what would be my better choices?

I get a hot dog or a cheeseburger fairly regularly at our concession stands. If they have baked chips I will get those as well. Or I just pack a protein bar to tide me over and then eat dinner when I get home, I regularly eat around 9 or 9:30 pm after I get my kids in bed.

are the games always at meal times? nothing says you have to eat there - as the poster said above - you could bring a protein bar or something.

I always eat right before the game, but once in a while there is not time, so I opt get a burger. Its basically a patty and a bun. I carry a purse big enough to pack some snacks, our games are fairly relaxed so I don't have to worry about the food police taking away my snacks.

    Sunflower seeds in the shell

Time will pass by while you chew through those suckers.

A regular hotdog will do. Topped with mustard, onion, pickle, tomato and a pepper for flavor. If you can, bring in a baggie of baby carrots or chopped celery for some extra veggies.
