power walking really does wonders for my abs + ab work on my exercise ball helps too9

Just keep losing weight it’ll reduce eventually. You can’t target fat on any specific body part unfortunately. Your body stores fat where it does, you can’t control it.8

In my 50s. I'm as light as I've ever been and it's still with me. My belly flab is here to stay, I think.
Flab happens. Do you're best to be healthy and don't worry, be happy!3 -

She said tone her lower abs. As in what exercises for core strength not how do I get rid of fat on my stomach? OP I would fast walk with tummy pulled in and do isometric exercises like planking.6 -

Indeed.
In the mean time. the best way to strengthen your core are large multijoint exercises like presses and pulls and squats. And Planks.
But generally when someone complains about "flab" they're talking about fat.8 -
I think she means reduce body fat on her abs since she mentioned cardio1

I typically define "flab" as body fat...which would have to be reduced to "tone." No exercise targets belly fat or any other fat. She could do all of the planks, compound lifts, or any other exercise she wants, but if the body fat isn't reduced abs will not show or be "toned"5 -
Belly Fat is Hard to Lose. Belly fat is harder to lose than fat in other areas of your body.1

push ups, chin ups, squats, lunges and dead lifts strengthen my core/abs, but losing the fat around them is done with my fork1

I know eating too always helps ! Lolnighthawk584 wrote: »push ups, chin ups, squats, lunges and dead lifts strengthen my core/abs, but losing the fat around them is done with my fork
