Any REAL stories of using 'Boombod'?

Can't seem to find many real stories of it being used and before/after pics. I have been using it for three days now and genuinely my stomach is less bloated, but I can't find many real people with results (whether good or bad)...is there anyone out there??

It's sachets of dietary fibre that you mix with water and take before meals, it's supposed to reduce your appetite and help you to eat less. It's been heavily promoted by so-called 'celebrities' in the UK but from researching it it doesn't seem to have a lot of 'real people' stories behind it. So I just wondered if anyone had had any luck. I am giving it a go to help me along!3 -
It honestly looks like woo to me. Yes fiber does help some with satiety, but you could get the same benefit out of a cheap generic fiber supplement or the fiber in food7

It looks to be about twice the price of Metamucil with the same goal in mind. I can't vouch for this but I do take Meta sometimes to get things going (to put it nicely), and not sure if it's placebo effect but I guess it does help me feel less hungry before lunch, too.0

According to the nutrition facts, each packet has 1g fiber and 10 cals. 3x a day for 7 days is the price for $34.99. So you are paying $1.67 per gram of fiber.
There are protein bars with fiber if you want something portable. I have a Costco bar with me that costs 90 cents and has 15g fiber (and 21g protein.) Tastes like chocolate chip cookie dough.
Fruit is the other option for increasing fiber if you have access to refrigerator at work or don't mind portable fruit like clementines.5 -
Ingredients: Glucomannan, Magnesium Citrate, Acidity Regulators (Sodium Citrate, Potassium Citrate, Calcium Citrate), Colour (Beetroot Red), Flavouring, Acidity Regulator (Citric Acid), Sweetener (Acesulfame-K), Vitamin C (as Ascorbic Acid), Sweetener (Sucralose), Ferrous Fumarate, Zinc Citrate, Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine Hydrochloride), Ribo avin (as Vitamin B2), Chromium Picolinate.
Glucomannan is dietary fiber that comes from the konjac root. Same stuff that's used to make shirataki noodles. You can also buy it cheaply in pill-form. It mixes with water to form a thick gel that may make your stomach feel fuller.
Magnesium citrate is a mineral beneficial to the muscles and bones and also used as a natural laxative.
Most of the other stuff is acids, vitamins and flavour.
So really... you're buying an expensive product that is designed to fill your stomach with gel and make you poop. If that is your goal, you can do it much cheaper with glucomannan pills/powder, magnesium citrate tablets and a multivitamin.6 -
