I'm 268. 5'9. Looking to lose about 90 pounds and have no idea what I'm doing or where to begin looking at what macros would work for me. Any help suggestions or where to look would be very helpful. Thanks.

Weight loss will be created by a calorie deficit, not specific macro targets. Macros are for satiety and to make sure you're meeting your nutritional needs (we all need a certain amount of protein and fat). Many people start with MFP's default recommendations and then make adjustments based on their preferences.
Enter your stats and goals into MFP (if you haven't already), get a calorie goal, and begin logging to consistently hit that goal.3 -
It will be easy for you to lose weight at any macro split. Just stay in calories.
The default macros on this site are 50C / 30F / 20P. That is a good place, safe and easy to hit.2 -
Thank you1
