How do you enter your exercise. Do you use the Apple Watch workout app or steps? Do you turn on the negative calories. I’m so confused and don’t know which to do. Thanks!

If you have Apple health vault connected to myfitnesspal then it will automatically sync and add the exercises to myfitnesspal if you do an workout from the workout app on the Apple watch2

In addition to what cheesus said, there are other apps that can write workouts and cooperate well with MFP. For example, I use Zombies, Run! for my cardio and I use an app called Strong for my strength training.2

I turned my negative calories off but that’s just me it’s not for everyone. The one downside to the pair AW and MFP is it usually counts my whole workout as cardio. Not a big deal but in my diary it looks like all I do is run. I turned my negative calories off in the app as well.1
