Are you trying to lose or gain? What is your goal and how far off are you?

In general, one day is no big deal one way or the other.

For one day it's fine. If it happens regularly it can lead to a greater percentage of muscle loss and a host of other health issues.

How old are you? If you're 33 (going on the 85 in your name), then you need to get your daily intake up. You can eat more than 2000 calories or you wouldn't weigh 310lbs. You may be cutting out too many foods in the common misconception that some foods are 'bad'. Add back in the fats, eat plenty of protein. Try prelogging your day so you can see where you need to add in. Use the condiments, eat the carbs.

Eating too little can/will, as @malibu927 said, cause you to lose more muscle along with other health issues.

    You can do it

I am 5'8" female and 225lbs eating 1800 net calories per day (usually end the day on around 2300 gross cals) you can eat plenty more and lose weight. If you're struggling with volume try some more calorie dense foods.

You didn't get to 310lbs by eating less than 1800 calories a day. I am 5'2 166lbs eating 1500-1700 a day and losing weight....

How long have you been eating in that 1800-2000 range?

If longer than a couple of weeks, what is your weight doing?

Are you logging everything? How are you measuring portions?
