Its the little things

I've been working on losing weight for about 20 weeks now and I'm really happy with how my eating is going and how I've increased working out (strength and cardio), but for some reason I'm most proud of the small changes I've taken in this journey.
The first is a lap I do in my building anytime I need a bathroom break, or just a walk around break. I go down 2 flights of stairs, walk to the next flight of stairs and walk back up and loop back to my office. It's not much, only takes about 2 minutes, but I love doing the stairs and in just a month it totally became habit and I do it several times a day.
The second small change is not sitting down when I get home from work. I either go right down to do laundry or start cleaning something that needs to be cleaned, or just do some little chore that I would otherwise put off. Again, nothing big, but if I don't sit down on the couch as soon as I get home, I find that I go some nights without EVER sitting on the couch. I do some housework, get changed and start exercising. You would think my house would be cleaner, but somehow it's still a a wreck.

Do you guys have anything similar that you're doing? It may seem small but it can really add up

When I go for a walk and I'm stopped at a traffic light, I cycle back and forwards through 8 march-in-place, 8 heel-digs, 8 toe-tips and 8 side leg raises (1 left + 1 right = 1 rep). It's a modification of a cardio workout warmup (I don't do the arm motions and I don't do reverse lunges or knee lifts, because I think they might look a little too strange to passers-by). I feel that way, if I take a 2-hour walk, I can log it as 2 hours and not "2 hours minus 2 minutes at this intersection and 5 minutes at that one and...")
