Sudden weight gain!!!???

Erm so for the past days my weight was as usual..nkt until two days ago... i controlled my diet and my workout routine was usual but my weight just keeps going up!! Btw im a female ,my friends said it might because of my period is coming but i never had this situation before....can anyone help me with this please?

we can't see your diary, but water weight is a good suspect assuming you're weighing what you eat, logging every sip lick or bite, and staying within your calories. If it suddenly drops again, you'll have your culprit. Otherwise, hard to say without knowing your tdee and cico information.2

Sounds like you are new to weighing yourself often. With that comes the realisation that our weight fluctuates from one day to the next and certain things will make it spike.

And yes, your friends are right, if your period is due then that will cause a spike up on the scales for several days. My TOM means I 'gain' 2-3lbs for 7 days of every month. Its just water weight.1
