Adding leg days to routine

I've been lifting steady for 3 yrs with the last 1.5 yrs being upper body only 3x week. I also run and cycle so figured that was enough for legs. My weight as came down and muscle mass up but I've stalled in my weight loss. Starting a 4x week split routine to add legs 2x week. What's everyone weight loss experience been after adding leg workouts. Did it help with weight loss? Improve running times? Make cycling less hard (top end, climbing or steady hard efforts)?

Lifting has helped both my running and my cycling... but it's had zero impact on weight loss.
Weight loss, for me, is entirely diet based and isn't impacted by exercise.0
