Dear god, that sounds ridiculous. It's like a bad baaaaad personals ad...

Here's the thing... I've been around MFP a long time (5+years), and have been around the block here - I've overshared, undershared, gotten butthurt, made others cranky, apologized profusely (I AM Canadian). I've flirted, I've stopped that, I've inspired (or so I've been told), and been so very inspired...

I am not looking for eye candy (or to be eye candy), not looking for ego stroking (or any other kind really haha), and am definitely not looking for love... but I do love to have fun.

What I AM looking for is to find a few new friends who are into powerlifting or heavy lifting. I'd love to learn more, to hear tips and tricks and struggles, and share mine.

My lifts are still pretty small: squat 195lb, Dead 240lb, Bench 105lb - but I really want to get stronger.

So... If after all that, you're still reading and not terrified, insulted, or otherwise offput by my post... consider adding me as a friend?
