Dear all,
I would like to get some more information on how it works with the body and processing of calories. Lately I have been craving and eating 3500 - 4000 calories a day! And I'm a short 5 foot petite grl, I do have the history of a disordered eating past and so I wonder if this is indeed normal in recovery or trying to gain weight - I just need these calories and perhaps thats ok? I dont know but, It just seemed worrisome to consume so much when even my parents / friends don't eat this many calories.

    Talk to your treatment team.

Whenever I’m coming off a cut, it takes me a few weeks of extremely high calories for my body to start gaining weight. Severe deprivation/ hunger can easily have you eating that amount of calories til you start gaining
