Is anyone using the Shapa scale?

I’ve been using the Shapa for about two months. It gives you colors instead of numbers on the theory that trends over time are more useful than daily figures, and that we obsess too much over the numbers. I have turned to obsessing a bit over the colors and would love to hear others’ experience.

So the scale tracks your weight over time and gives you a color based on an average over the past three weeks after determining how much your weight fluctuates up and down as a baseline. So when you are within one standard deviation it shows green for maintaining. If you are gaining it shows grey and losing it’s teal. There are other colors for gaining a lot and losing a lot. I wasn’t weighing myself at all and was going by how I felt. I wanted something to just tell me “yup, still losing” as I used MFP and stayed generally 500+ calories below my TDEE. With this scale I can see how all the days that I go over thinking it’s OK it’ll all even out actually add up.
