Logging in portion of bulk meal

Hi everyone. My name is Aladino. I wanted to know if anyone knew how to log a portion of a giant meal made. An example of what I mean is kind of like spaghetti for instance. If I made a whole spaghetti dish where I used a full box of noodles and a pound of meat, and a whole jar of sauce, how do I make that a custom meal and then in the end measure out like 100 grams to where the app figures out how much macros should be in that portion?

Enter the ingredients into the recipe builder. Set the number of servings to the total weight of the dish (provided your scale can weigh that much...many don't).1

If you know what the macros are, why not just eye ball it. If you are going to eat it over a couple of days, all the calories will come out on the wash. Just a thought from an idiot like me!0

This is all you have to do! Make sure to enter it in recipes, not meals, and it sets and saves everything for you. I have like 20 saved and it's so easy to just select those and add them to my diary.0 -

My food scale can't handle the weight of a full dish, like pp mentioned. I weigh each food in grams, then add up the total, and use that as the total number of servings. It may not be a perfect system, but it's working for me
