Am I too heavy to start c25k?

I'm 217 pounds 5 ft 4 and I'm on week 5. Do it no more than 3x a week: rest is as important for the development of muscles and endurance as the actual exercises!

I am so going to try this! My shins have not been happy with me but I would HATE to give up running since Ive come so far.

I've found a great team. It's the largest C25K team and there is an August thread where someone seems to check in daily, so come on over! People are running all weeks of the programme so you get a fantastic idea of the whole thing.0
