I’m currently living in San Diego and was wondering where are some cool places to go for long runs I’ve hiked a lot of mountains but I want to run a little more than hike.

    Miramar Lake is a good option if you want to run without elevation. But the sun hits strongly

    We like to run along the LA Jolla coast when we visit friends who live there. Thankfully, we've always lived/live in gated communities with running, hiking and biking trails. Oh and the ever present running track 400m. Running trails in Solana are great too. Coronado beach is almost like running on the beach at home for me, so if you can, do that.

    Warning: Do not run along the SD harbour, most especially near the USS Midway if the smell of diesel is something you'd find nauseous.
