    Welcome aboard!!
    At the top, it says food and you go from there. It will get easier. You can use the app on your phone(which I find easier because you can scan your food) or when you go to eat...lets say a piece of bread, hit the search bar and you will find your brand and how many cals/sugar/etc you are eating.

    For meals you make yourself from scratch you can use the recipe builder input all your ingredients weigh the finished product put that as how many servings it make then weigh out your portion and put the amount as how many servings you had
