I'm going on a first camping trip soon with partner and kids,we re away for 5 days .
I don't know what to do about logging.

Last couple of weeks I had to lay off working out and been binging alot I'm trying to get back on track but worried I'll mess it up again while away .

Does anyone take a food scale on holiday or do you just eyeball portions ? We re planning to cook quite a bit but obviously facilities will be limited we re staying in a tent.

I 'll appreciate any tips and advice, thanks.

Personally (and this is just me) I do not bring my scale on vacation, although i do continue to log everything, even if I go over. Depending on how long you have been weighing food, you may have a decent eyeball for portions, when I am not sure, I usually err on the side of caution. Sometimes taking a break from religious weighing and measuring is good for my soul, and I just try to eat mindfully with balance on a vacation, without completely depriving myself or beating myself up about food choice. Vacation is also a great time to get in some extra movement/exercise to balance out the lack of a scale. Have fun with your family, camping is awesome!

I've logged and not logged on vacation. I don't have any particular rules for myself, it largely depends on how busy I am. If my vacation is packed, I'm not going to bother logging. But, I would say if my vacation was an outdoors vacation, I definitely wouldn't log. To me, part of the point of an outdoors vacation is really getting away from the day-to-day and tech. You should do whatever you think will be most beneficial for you in the end. You'll likely get a good amount of activity while camping, so maybe you should just try to be conscientious about your food choices.
