Fitbit won’t Sync

I am extremely frustrated that my Fitbit will not sync. I have googled and looked at videos and nothing it suggests is working. There is no icon next to the time on my computer for my Fitbit. I have tried logging in and out. I turned the Bluetooth off on my iPhone waited 10 secs and turned it back on. It didn’t change anything.

When I log into my account on the computer it tells me I need to sync and takes me to a useless page full of discussions. After an hour... I still can’t sync it.

Has anyone done a force sync before?

have you unpaired, not just turned off the BT. when my garmin misbehaves. i unpair everything and start over connecting everything again

What kind of FitBit do you have, and how long have you had it for?

I have a charge 2 and have had it for a year. Found out that to do a hard sync it has to be sitting on my phone. Not sure why but I could that hit online and as soon as I put my watch on my phone and I hen opened the app it worked. It has been working well ever since
