'Transfering' remaining calories to following day?

Hello, I ate a little bit too much today (over 1 calorie), I am going to take a walk like I always do to decrease that. But I am sick today (cold) and couldn't go to the gym today. i am to go 3 times a week, and have only gone once this week. However, in the last few days, I ate resonably and had approx. 225 calories not used at the end of each day. Can you "transfer" those to following days or that doesn't work?
Thanks

I don't think one day will hurt. It's an average of how you are during the week that counts. So if you're generally under, you should be okay. I say stay in bed and treat that cold :)

I go a bit over somedays and a bit under somedays and just make sure it averages out over the week. It works for me but everybody is different. The trap with doing this though is letting yourself get too far behind and needing way too big of a deficit to catch up again, which isn't healthy and doens't work.

For one calorie? I wouldn't even worry about it.

You can follow your weekly calorie goal on the app to see how many you have remaining. Many people do that and eat a bit less throughout the week to save up for weekends/special occasions.

Over one calorie is still hitting your goal. Wouldn’t even think twice about it. Work on getting over your cold and feeling better

Are you seriously saying this question is about going over by 1 calorie?????

That is hitting your goal, our logging is never exact to the single calorie.

Re the general question - I find it better to look at weekly calories and then some days are more, some days are less and just aim to have the weekly amount on target.

Yeah there are many ways for logs to be off 10 to 20 calories in either direction on any given day even if you are careful and use a scale. I personally think it all evens out over time.
