Weight loss plateau...

So I started the year off at around 230 lbs and drastically cut my calories down to 1850 ish per day. I also started working out 5-6 days a week. My weight loss has basically stopped at 200 lbs. I can’t seem to break under that mark.

I do a fairly intense 1 hour of weights plus 10 mins on a bike and 2 km walk on my lunch break.

Do I need to increase my metabolism to kick start my weight loss again? I plan on increasing my cals every 2-3 weeks by around 150-250 cals to find my maintenance levels.

I am 30 years old 6’1 for reference. Currently eating 200g + of protein 100 or so carbs the rest fat. Hardest part is knowing how much to eat. Anyone have any ideas???

Thanks

How long has it been since you lost weight?

How do you measure your portions?

There is no need to increase your metabolism. If you’re in a true plateau (no losses in at least a month), you’re likely eating more than you think and will need to tighten up your logging.

Are you a man? A six foot one inch man at 200 pounds is probably pretty close to goal weight and the last five or ten moves very slowly.

Hey! I am a man! I track pretty strictly have a good food scale too.

I should mention that I never weighted trained before the beginning of the year either so I was hoping some might just be muscle replacing fat?

I took a quick look at your diary and it doesn't look like you are weighing all your solids - lots of cups, tablespoons, etc.

I'd start with tightening up your logging.
