Fitbit Flex 2 for lap swimming?

Does anyone have a Flex 2 that they use for swimming? I currently use the Charge 2 and love it, but I'd really like one that I can use in the water. Thoughts? Is it accurate? Do the laps swam sync with mfp for calorie burn purposes the same as steps walked? Thanks in advance!

I have a Garmin Vivoactive and use it for lap swimming. It is great because you can get a lot of data on your swims. Lengths, distance, time, pace, calories, strokes per length, stroke rate, total strokes and SWOLF.

I just got the Flex 2 recently and I've used it for swimming laps a couple times. It only tracks the lengths that you swam and the calories burned, but I've found it to be accurate with that data. Swimming is one of the exercises that it will auto detect, so that's nice for tracking your exercise in the Fitbit app. As for syncing with MFP, it won't log the swimming as a separate exercise, it will only sync the steps and the calories burned.

It looks like in Canada it will be $200, but this does look pretty great with HR tracking as well, if it keeps the lap tracking of the flex 2. Although the touch screen might be dicey in the water.

I started away from tablets for a long time. Then I jumped right into the deep end with the Garmin Fenix 5X. Love it.
Had I bought a vivo it would already have been destroyed.
I swim in a crowded pool when I'm in China on business. The Fenix is rugged enough to take the occasional hit on the edge ofthe pool wall. Not an issue for right handed people given the loop is counter clockwise. :D:D:D

I use my Flex 2 for lap swimming and it's good, quite accurate.
