Hi, I have started 1200 calories diet ,
And I have a question.
If I burned 200 calorie exercising, can I eat in replacement

If your calorie goal comes from MFP, it's designed for you to eat back the calories you burn exercising.

I don't know if 1200 calories/day is a healthy target for you, so I'm not suggesting it's a good number.

However, on the general question of eating back exercise calories, the first question is how accurate are your numbers. If the estimates are off and you are eating them back, you can actually gain weight as you are not in a calorie deficit.

So, assuming your calorie target is a healthy one, I would only eat some of them back, if any at all, until you have an idea if you are making progress.

Personally, I seldom eat back any exercise calories, and have been on a pretty steady 1%/week rate of loss.

FitBit estimates were ~23000 calories burned for a 7 day period and MFP food logs had me at ~13000 calories consumed. I think the numbers pointed to a 2.7 pound loss for that week and I was at 3.5 pounds.

Confirming that my logging was adequate to lose weight.

You really have to see for yourself and adjust after a few weeks.

Food scale is my new best friend....

If 1200 is a realistic calorie goal for you but then you burn 200 you should eat 1400. 1200 is a minimum so make sure you’re calculating correctly and not setting your goal too aggressively.
