Total Body Weight training recommendations

Hey guys,

I want to get an effective total body weight training workout in order, especially in an hour at max. But because of the pacing • especially when it comes to making sure I also get the “overlooked” body parts like the forearms and calves— I end up taking longer than I thought. And sometimes I may not do a good job of it.

What type of total body weight training regimen do you do? And can you please share with me and everyone else?

For home I like my Fitbit coach. The workouts are on average less than half an hour so if you want more you can certainly do two. Otherwise there’s probably some good ones for free on YouTube. I’m interested what others recommend too.

I cannot recommend 9Round highly enough. It takes about 35 minutes from start to finish & you will work your butt off. There are 9 different stations, Round 1 is always the jump rope & Round 9 is ab work, but it's never the same workout twice.

Each round is 3 minutes. The buzzer sounds & you start working. After 2.5 minutes, the buzzer sounds again & you pick up the pace for the last 30 seconds. Then the buzzer sounds & there's an active rest period of 30 seconds, which is just another exercise thrown in, like lunges, burpees, push ups, crunches, etc. , then the buzzer sounds & it's on to the next round.

Not only is the workout hard, but it's fun & therapeutic. There are always trainers there working with you & sparring with you during a couple of rounds. It doesn't matter what size, shape or skill level you are, they will help you get better.

Read the pinned post. Lots of good programs listed there, in the "Which program" thread.

If you need more help, tell us what equipment you have, and what your goal is.
