I enjoy the sun and all, but Thunderstorms are the best. Would be nice if the weather consisted mainly of thunderstorms (minus the flooding) and a little sun. I think I'm going crazy.

I think animals would hate that. I was wondering the other day, why dogs freak out so badly because of storms outside. Do dogs get hit by lightning often or is it just the loud thunder, maybe some animalistic sense that humans can't pick up on?

My lab would absolutely hate that. She hides and gets real anxious during storms, the thunder, not the lightning being the source of her anxiety. She was fine with loud noises until she was a coupIe years old. We made the mistake of taking her to a very loud 4th of July party and that was the end of her tolerance. I, however, love a good thunder and lightning storm. All the time? I don't think so.

I liked to watch storms when I was a kid. Now that I own an alarm company I hate them.

I've read they can pick up on the static electricity in the air with their fur or something. That's what thunder jackets are supposed to help with. I think

Hmm. I thought it was the weight or compression. Like a weighted blanket for autism or anxiety. I've also heard that inner ear/greater sensitivity to barometric change can be part of it.

I would love it if there was a thunderstorm every night as I fall asleep.

In my ideal world, it always would be sunny and 80 during the day and storm at night (minus the tornado threats that storms here tend to bring this time of year). Love to lay in bed and listen to the rain and thunder.

My dogs could care less about a storm. Their only reaction is to bark at the close ones.

Thats all it has done in Ohio. Storms are great but not when your yard becomes a swamp...lol.

I guess you haven't been in many thunderstorms when they are right on top of you. Also, it would be impossible to leave the house without fear of dying. Plus it would be hard to sleep. No, this is a terrible idea.

I would have to put my dog in a straight jacket if it thunder stormed all the time. She gets really psycho for some reason, sometimes she just freezes and stands there likes she is waiting to be struck by lightening. Its actually horrible to watch when I home to see it.

If I go too long without the sun I get really crabby, so not a good idea for me for many reasons.

Thunderstorms are okay but all the time is a bit much for my taste. It's not like get to stay home sleeping all the time, then maybe I wouldn't mind.

We just had a quick afternoon storm roll though, but now it's hot and extremely humid again. Also, I left my car windows cracked so it will be nice and steamy in there when I leave.

At this point I just assume it's going to only rain at some random point during work hours and not after so I can't crack my windows.

You should move to Virginia in the summer. We get them pretty much every late afternoon. I love them. There is something so romantic yet dangerous about them. Plus, the rain that follows usually cools things down a bit and leaves everything steamy and sultry.

I love to sleep to a thunderstorm. Puts me right out into the most relaxing nights sleep.

Oh me too! As long as I know it's not a tornadic storm, I will sleep like a baby.
