How long of a stall are we talking about? I routinely go two weeks without losing any weight, and sometimes up to three. Then I have a few days where I lose all the weight I was “supposed” to lose during that time (and sometimes a little extra), so I can’t really call that a stall. It’s just the way some people’s bodies lose weight.

If it’s been a month or longer, though, my advice would be the same as for people not on keto: take a hard look at your numbers. Are you estimating any portions? Using nonspecific entries like “ten almonds,” or ones with numbers that look a little different from other brands of the same foods? How sure are you of your activity level and exercise burn?

Generally when we stop losing weight, it’s because our intake has lined up with our expenditure. If the numbers on your MFP don’t reflect that, your suspicion should fall on those numbers, first. If you’re 100% sure of them and you’ve given it more than a month and you’re still not losing an ounce, it’s time to consult with your doctor about possible medical factors.
