Core Workout Ideas?!

I find that my core is the area that needs the most work... but its also the most boring area to exercise. Does anyone have any good youtube videos or links to share with fun and effective core workouts?!

    "fun" is relative.

Pivot presses, turkish getups, single-side carries.

    Also, calorie deficit.

Oh yes, weighted deadbugs are great. Plank variations, ab rollout, L-sits, hanging leg lifts, straight arm work (straight arm pull downs, straight arm balls(from hanging), straight arm V-ups(from hanging), dragon levers, other lever progressions, etc.

This is assuming your goal is truly to build up your core strength and not to get a flat tummy with visible abs.

Edit - oh, and pullups are a GREAT core exercise.

That's what I came in to say.

    I also do something I don't see a lot of here out of a book on strength-training. It's called a Deep-abs ball-transfer.

Lie on your back, knees bent, feet on the floor, arms stretched out behind your head, holding a ball (weighted or unweighted, depending on what you're ready for) between your hands.

Suck your navel into your spine, raise the ball forward in both hands as you lift your knees and bring them toward your chest. Transfer the ball from between your hands to between your knees, return briefly to starting position, then bring knees back up and hands forward and pass the ball back to your hands. That's one rep.

Why do you think that? Exercises don't target fat or loose skin, if that's what you're trying to do.
