It's all up to you. Some go twice a week and others 6 days a week. Whatever you feel happy with :flowerforyou:0 -
you'll be fine. tomorrow your PT will most likely outline a weekly workout schedule for you that includes what days to do cardio and what days to lift. it's still early in most parts of the world so if you want to go today you can probably still make it.0

Personally, I go to the gym 5 days a week. I do cardio on my own Monday, Wednesday and Friday. On Tuesday I do strength with my trainer, and on Thursday I do one of the 6 routines he has written out for me to do on my own. The weekends are for rest.0

If you are just starting off with working out, it might be better to ease into it rather than going all out. Often, when people workout, they start off going balls to the wall and then get burned out. If you feel like you won't be going overboard, then go for it. I go to the gym to lift 3x a week and cardio 2-3x a week, but i have also been going consistently for a year now.0
