Serving size

I weight my food with a food scale. I was wondering when a package says for example (about 8 pieces (136g)) when I weight the food 136g is actually like 13 to 15 pieces. Do I go by weight to get that one serving or should I just be eating the 8 pieces.

Do the 13-15 pieces look like a normal portion? There can be some discrepancy between the # of pieces and weight, usually go by weight, but it's not usually that different.1

The nutrition facts are based upon weight. Number of pieces is an estimate.
I adjust the MFP entry to 1 gram increments in the drop-down menu, decide how much I want (my portion), weigh, and enter that weight.
If you want 3 or 5 or 12 pieces right now, that's up to you. Serving sizes are just suggestions. Your portion size can vary depending upon how much you want right now and how that fits your goals.1
