Team goal (topic post)- post weight loss goal on group site by Sat Aug, 10 and results on Fri Aug, 16. I will calculate our goal and results! How many lbs can our group lose next week? Join in! ????

Let's motivate and inspire each other on a monthly basis!! We will set weight, fitness and personal goals and motivate each other. Let's meet our goals together - ready for the challenge?! :)

    I would LOVE to join this group!!!

    I only have one friend on MyFitnessPal because I am a fairly private person and refuse to invite my FB friends or most others. I am a fellow Christian woman and really need the support and motivation of a group setting (and wanting to give the same back). My goal is to lose 10-15 pouds. I am struggling right now.

    How do I join?

    I have been stuck at 160 for years. I would like to bust it out this year and lose the last 26lbs by Nov 30th. I will start with a 1.5lb loss as a goal by Aug 16th so that I don't get discouraged by not meeting an unrealistic goal for me. Wish me luck!

    Hey! I am also a christian lady who would like to lose weight. I am going to lose 5 pounds by this time on the 13th.

    Okay - apparently I am a litle too new to MyFitnessPal to know how to join a group ;) I suppose I am already IN by just responding :)

    So, my goal is to lose 3 lbs by this time next week.

    Do we check in with each other by looking at progress or is that only something that your MFP friends can see?

    Excited and nice to meet everyone virtually :)

    :-) Some groups you do have to send a request to join, but I think we're "In" this one :-) I can see your weight loss bar with a 16lb goal on it when you post. But I too, wonder if a more structured check in would be good

    I agree - that might be a better way to go about it for more accountability and motivation. We could 'friend' everyone on this thread if that would be more structured. Any other thoughts?
