Suggestions after injury

Ok so I have been working out at the gym for the past few months with a friend from work, last week we tried out a few new back machines that they got and I am pretty sure we over did it and I ended up hurting my back. I took it easy for several days and went to the chiropractor and I prob won't use those machines anymore. Just looking for suggestions on some good back workouts at the gym that do the trick but that i would be less likely to hurt myself.
