Fitbit calories burned

Hi

Does anyone use the tdee figures on a Fitbit or similar?

I have a hard time working out my tdee and at the minute I am around 2 weeks into a cut.

Height is 5’10 weight down to 180lbs, bf estimate between 15-25 %

Currently eating 2000 calories per day and my macros are 40p 30c 30f

My fitbit is showing a much higher energy/calorie expenditure that I anticipated.

I also haven’t tracked my lifting days which would act raise my calories burnt as I don’t think my device auto detects weight lifting.

Just curious if anyone knows how accurate the Fitbit figures are.

Fed up spinning my heels and not getting the bodyfat levels that I want.

Any advice appreciated

This is a screenshot of my happy scale figures. I am new to cardio and before these last few weeks I just lifted weights

I’m assuming the sudden drop is just water but is 2k calories high enough to start a cut on?

I find mfp is more reliable than fitbit. Fitbit would have me practically starve myself, its calculation of calories burned (and therefore how much I should eat) is far too low.

I have the fitbit versa, and TDEE seems on point. Been stable at 206lbs for 4 days(VERY unusual for me) by matching calories (4k calories in). So now that I know it's actually working, I'm dropping my calories intake to 3k, give myself a 1k calorie daily deficit, but still enough to build some muscle and power through my workouts.

I'm 37, 6'2, 34" waist. Goal is to hit 200lbs in 3 weeks by following my current diet.
