Can’t add food on my mobile

Hi, I can’t seem to add some new foods on my Apple mobile but I can fine on my laptop. This worked fine until 2 days ago, but now I can only add recent food or foods that I can scan the bar code. I go to add food and type in say grapes and the message will be no grapes found in recent foods. Very frustrating when I’m out and about trying to log! Any tips would be gratefully received.

Are you scrolling to the bottom of the recent list? There should be a link to search the entire Food Database.
