I push mowed the front yard, took 30 minutes, heart was racing about three minutes into it. My legs are cramping and it made me shakey (heat index is 101 right now). I think old fat people shouldn't mow the yard in the heat! Ha ha, but I will do it again for sure, had no idea it would burn 328 calories! I might become a mowing fanatic, because after all, I did it and I survived. Go me!

great job on the mowing and moving, but do be careful in the heat, especially with that high of an index. Early morning or late evening may be better for that kind of activity.

as crazy as it might sound, my thinking was 1) the front yard is shaded and 2) better to find out if I can do it in my own front yard with some grown adults home who could call for help if I had a heart attack or something than to have it happen out by myself trying to run, but it is so friggin hot and humid here, man!

I love mowing the lawn, it's my current favorite exercise, but please be careful...heat stroke is no joke and cramping/shaky/etc. worries me! I have been mowing early or late and that seems to be a lot more doable in the height of summer.

the leg cramping is because I've sat on my fat butt for 18 years, but the shaking did not happen until I after I came back inside and sat in the air conditioning, but I'm okay, I'm paying attention to my body when it responds negatively, but thank you so much for caring about me!

I am really proud of myself, this means my husband does not have to do it
